Strategic Plans 2007-2008
In an effort
to work collaboratively with campus and district goals, librarians across
the district have developed strategic plans for their individual libraries. These plans are examples of how the school librarian connects with the curriculum in support of student achievement and personal growth. In addition, strategic
plans help focus the professional's objectives, strategies and activities
so that time is better managed in assisting faculty, students and parents. SAISD librarians have
made a commitment of time and effort to build a collaborative environment
between libraries, their campus staffs, and the communities they serve.
The table below identifies each Area, its clusters and campuses. Each librarian identified student needs based on campus instructional plans, library management information, state school library standards, parent involvement considerations and district goals.
